A Juliette is a girl who chooses to register by herself
rather than with a troop or group, or who is waiting to be
a member of a troop.
Juliettes are not a separate program level. They are girls
ranging from Daisy to Ambassador Girl Scouts and come with
no additional requirements other than having a Girl Scout
Membership.
Who can be a Juliette?
Any girl between the ages of 5 (or in kindergarten) and
17 (or in the 12th grade) can be a Juliette Girl Scout.
Some of the reasons Girls Register as Juliettes
I have no time to attend troop meetings
but I still want to be a Girl Scout.
There are no troops available at the
time I can meet.
There are no troops available in my
areas.
I am waiting for troop placement in
a troop and I want to be included in area
activities.
I have no transportation available
to get to troop meetings.
My parent prefers to work with me individually
on Girls Scout badges and activities.
Due to an illness, I can’t attend
a troop right now but still want to keep up with my friends.
