Site Locations

US95 to Boulder City; turn right on Buchanan Blvd. (2nd light) to Adams; turn left on Adams (stop sign) to Ave. B; turn left on Avenue B to 6th Street; turn right on 6th Street, a driveway into the parking lot. Scout House will be on your left.

Calico
West of Las Vegas

Travel west on Charleston until sign indicating turn for Calico Basin/Red Springs. Turn right. Paved road becomes gravel, ending at a "T" junction. Turn right toward Calico Basin. Take another right and proceed through the gate. Take the first left, and follow as road curves to the right. Take a left through the gate (you should now see picnic tables looking toward the hills). Follow road to end at the gravel parking lot. Please back into your parking space.

Camp Foxtail

North on Hwy 95. Turn west on Hwy 156, Lee Canyon. Proceed past Deer Creek, approximately 1 mile to the Old Mill Campground sign. Approximately 100 yards past will be the road to Camp Foxtail on your left. Go through the gate and proceed approximately one mile -the road becomes a gravel road part way up) until you arrive at the camp.

Freedom Park

The Park is bordered by Mojave Rd., Washington Ave., and Pecos Rd. Enter the Main entrance at Mojave Rd. and Harris Ave.

Harris Avenue at Mojave between Bonanza Rd. and Washington Ave. From US95 exit at Eastern Ave.; take Eastern north to Bonanza Rd. (1st stoplight); turn right (east) onto Bonanza to Mojave Ave.; turn left (north) on Mojave (.3 mi.) to Harris Ave. (the first street on the left (west) side of Mojave, across from the main entrance to Freedom Park). Turn into the 2nd drive on the right, which is a short road leading you into the parking area.

Take the 95 south. Merge onto NV-564 E / W LAKE MEAD PKWY via EXIT 61B toward LAKE MEAD PKWY. Turn right on Van Wagenen St. Turn Right on Pacific Ave. The Scout House is behind the Eagles building.

WPNP
Wetlands Park Nature Preserve
7050 E. Wetlands Park Ln.

From Boulder Highway take Russell Road east towards Sam Boyd Stadium. Turn left onto Broadbent Ave. Follow Broadbent for 1.2 miles (past the Duck Creek Wetlands area). From the direction of the Silver Dome, it is a RIGHT turn onto Wetlands Park Lane, which you follow to the end, then turn left into the parking area.
