- Camp programs – this program pathway offers day or resident camp activities that focus on the out-of-doors and/or environmental education
- Event programs – this pathway offers a variety of scheduled activities that are open to girls by age levels that explore skills and interests in a wide range of thematic areas like community service, cultural arts, overnighters, healthy living, math and science, aquatics, environmental and leadership
- Special Interest – this pathway offers a series of six to eight activity sessions relating to a specific theme or purpose
- Travel – this pathway offers girls, regardless of previous Girl Scouting involvement, leadership and cross cultural opportunities through regional, national, and international travel
- Troop – this pathway offers girls an opportunity to work with the same group of girls in their own age level, over the course of an academic year, in partnership with two or more of the same adult advisors
- Virtual – this pathway offers girls opportunities to utilize technology for a range of exciting activities in partnership with adult volunteers and staff. Girls have a chance to connect with girls in other communities; regionally, nationally, and internationally! Virtual programs provide interactive, high quality program activities in a safe, secure, online environment offered through a web-based platform developed by Girl Scouts of the USA
All Girl Scout program activities incorporate the Discover, Connect, and Take Action keys to leadership that is unique to the Girl Scout program. Girl Scout experiences are also, as much as possible, girl led and encourage learning by doing (experiential learning), and cooperative learning. These three processes promote the fun and friendship that have always been so integral to developing girls of Courage, Confidence, and Character, who make the world a better place!
The Girl Scout program serves girls ages 5-17, in grades Kindergarten – 12th grade. Membership registration is $10 annually.
